Orthopaedic Surgery

Dr. Alexis Colvin is a board certified orthopaedic and sports medicine surgeon with extensive experience treating athletes of all ages and abilities. Dr. Colvin serves as the Chief Medical Officer of the U.S. Open, the team physician for the U.S. BJK Cup team, and served as Chief Medical Officer of the USTA until its relocation to Florida. Dr. Colvin has also served as a physician at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. She has been been selected multiple times by Crain's New York to its "Notable Women in the Business of Sports List" and has been recognized as one of New York Magazine's Best Doctors since 2016.

Dr. Colvin is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery as well as Associate Dean for Alumni Affairs at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She has authored numerous scientific publications and presentations at both national and international meetings on sports medicine. She is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for Let Her Play, an organization dedicated to improve girls' engagement in sports across the U.S. and the Hologic WTA Women's Health Innovation Task Force.
