"We would like to share a new opportunity for your society to collaborate with VJSM by producing a special issue of VJSM filled with videos from members of your society. The collection could be focused on one topic or a number of topics. One or more members of your society would serve as guest editor(s) with the supervision of Dr. Brockmeier. One society is already planning such an issue for the second quarter of 2023.
We have negotiated a deal with our publisher, SAGE, to further discount the APCs below the discounted rate already available to partner society members, with a declining rate depending upon the number of videos in the issue. Your society could choose to offset the APCs or to ask one of your trusted sponsors to do so. If you enlist a commercial sponsor, SAGE also has a number of optional promotional packages that the sponsor could elect. Such a promotional package is not required but offers sponsors a way to promote their brand.
