Beverley MD/MPH

Orthopaedic Sports Medicine

Dr. Beverley is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, with a subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine. She sees patients in the Cleveland, Ohio area where she is co-director of the sports medicine program at MetroHealth. Dr. Beverley is a Castle Connolly Cleveland Top Doctor. Her specialties include arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, shoulder labral repair, meniscal surgery, tendon repairs, fracture treatment, and many more.

After completing her undergraduate B.S. degree in Biology at Cornell University, Dr. Beverley achieved a dual degree in medicine and public health (MD/MPH) at Boston University. She remained at Boston University for her orthopaedic surgery residency, followed by completing a sports fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. During fellowship, she worked with the Cleveland Browns (NFL), Cavaliers (NBA), Indians (MLB), Rockers (WNBA), Barons (IHL), and several local collegiate and high school teams. She also helped cover the X Games, the Cleveland Marathon, and other events.

After working in the greater Boston area where she was the team physician for professional softball and hockey teams, Dr. Beverley moved to Cleveland and became the chief of orthopaedic surgery for the Ohio Permanente system. She then became the director of the musculoskeletal division, overseeing several departments.

In addition to her clinical practice and team coverage, she serves on several state and national committees. She has been on the executive board of the Ohio Orthopaedic Society since 2018. As a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery (AAOS), she has served on the medical liability committee and is currently on the committee on professionalism. She is also a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, where she serves on the self-assessment committee.
