Support Us – PAM’S FUND
Over 25 years ago, Pam Whitehead, with the support of DonJoy Orthopedics, was instrumental in inviting a group of fellowship-trained, female Orthopedic Surgeons to an inaugural meeting in San Diego. This group evolved into the organization we now call The Forum - which provides a unique “forum” for scientific discussion and support among women orthopedic sports medicine surgeons.
In her honor, Pam’s fund was created to preserve the organization for future generations of female Orthopedic Sports medicine surgeons. The fund currently supports annual research grants, philanthropic and educational projects, as well as an international traveling Fellow. To ensure long-term viability of The Forum, the fund also provides an endowment for the operational costs of the organization.
