Dr. Danica Vance is an orthopedic surgeon at Mount Sinai Medical Center, specializing in orthopedic sports medicine. Dr. Vance graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy from Duke University and earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. While at the University of Miami, she spent a full year dedicated to orthopedic sports medicine research. She went on to complete a residency in orthopedic surgery at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. She then went on to complete a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Duke University, where she served as a team doctor for the Duke University and North Carolina Central athletic teams.
